Mr. Milton Louis Russell was born on November 11, 1949 to Elton Howard and Alma C. Russell in Williamsport, Tennessee. Milton transitioned to be with the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2024 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, Nashville, Tennessee.
Milton professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was united with Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church until his passing.
Milton received his formal education in the Murray City School System, Murray, Kentucky. He later relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. Milton was employed with the Columbia, Tennessee Sanitation Department and was a dedicated employee. He believed in working hard and that much could be accomplished through dedication and commitment. He always took pride in his work.
Milton loved to read, he also enjoyed exploring and sightseeing all over Nashville while riding the Metro City Bus. Milton loved the Lord and attending church and fellowshipping with his church Family that he loved dearly.
Milton was preceded in death by parents, Alma C. Russell and Elton Howard, brothers, Joe Russell and Charles Humphrey.
Those left to share in and cherish beautiful memories are cousins, Dorothy (Gregory) Wardford, Detroit, Michigan, Helen Waller and Ira Sharpe, James (Tereza) Humphrey, Buford (Sharon) Richardson all Nashville, Tennessee. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends and all those he loved.
