Millie Sarah Hassell, age 89, passed away on July 13, 2021.
She was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on May 22, 1932 to the late, Albert Floyd and Emma Jane Aaron Odom. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband of over 45 years, William Burton Hassell, siblings, Bruce Odom, Bill Odom, and Bessie Odom.
She is survived by her glorious children, David (Connie) Hassell of Denver, CO, Deborah Hassell of Franklin, TN, and Eunice (Emad) Armanious of Dickson, TN; grandchildren, Randall (Caitlin) Reynolds of La Vergne, Tn, Christine (Chester) Brown of Denver, CO, Alanah (Austin) Metz, of Japan, Dakota Hassell of Denver, CO, Autumn Hassell of Denver, CO and Darin Hassell of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Maddy, Scarlett and Bonham; sister, Martha Bedford of Lawrenceburg, TN; dear friend, Bill Wilson and a host of nieces and nephews.
Millie always enjoyed life, was often the life of the group, and never met a stranger. Her best times consisted of going to flea markets, yard selling, quilting, loved the adventure of playing the odds, she loved to cook, and was known by all who loved her, for her generous spirit. Millie was often strong-willed and willing to share her thoughts.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from four until seven o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
