Mary Charlene Bradley Holloway, age 68, left this earth on March 9, 2023. Her final days were spent surrounded by her husband, Dan Holloway, her family, and loved ones at Centennial Hospital.
She was born on August 14, 1954, in Nashville, TN to Mai Belle Bradley and Charlie T Bradley, who preceded her in death.
Mary was a nurturer who loved to take care of others and never let anyone leave her presence hungry or empty-handed. Even in her final months, she often tried to be a caretaker to those who were gathered to care for her.
She adored children and had seven of her own: David Price (married to Tabitha Price), Daniel Price, Donnie Price, Jenny Ferguson (married to Brian Ferguson), Jamie Price, April Duchemin (married to Steven Duchemin), and John Holloway; in addition to her twelve grandchildren: Abby Price, Kaitlin Ferguson, Brittany Price, Taylor Price, Theodore (Amaya) Price, Anthony Campbell, Jeremiah Campbell, Ethan Price, Savannah Price, Aiden Price, Baylie Ferguson, and Adalyn Duchemin – all of whom she deeply loved and cherished.
She was a beloved member of a large family including her nine siblings. She is now reunited with her sister, Sue Bradley; and her half-brother, Ransom Bradley.
She is survived by half-brother, Tom Bradley (married to Patsy); half-sister, Margie Bradley Schultz; James R. Bradley “Butch” (married to Pam), Judy Bradley Bourne (married to Danny), Jeff Bradley (married to Lori), Jane Bradley, and Rhea Bradley (married to Joanie); and her eleven nieces and nephews.
Mary’s soul will live on in our hearts and continue to bring her family together over and over again, just as she did throughout her life. We will keep her close to us through our stories, her recipes, and the laughter and smiles that she inspired in us all.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Martin Center: 960 Heritage Way, Brentwood, TN, 37027.
