John ‘Don’ Donald Horstman, age 75, was born in Nashville on December 12th, 1947 to John and Martha Horstman. After a long-fought battle with cancer, he is now in his Lord’s loving arms.
He is preceded in death by parents John and Martha Horstman, and grandson Elliott Wedde.
Survived by wife Sheilah Dianne (Lee) Horstman, sister Mary (Mitch) Lewis, son Christopher (Michelle) Horstman, daughter Courtney (John) Wedde, and grandchildren Colton Horstman, Peyton and Addison Wedde.
Donald worked and retired from both Western Electric/ATT and Metro Water. He loved collecting coins, baseball and basketball cards, and Coca-Cola memorabilia. He lived for his family and was the first to offer a hand to anyone in need. Will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 from 1-4 pm, at Sleepin’ Bear Lodge and Farm, 7552 Swift Road, Greenbrier, TN 37073.
