Marie Floyd Crosslin Romesburg age 95, of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2023, with her family by her side.
Marie was born to the late Henry & Judy Floyd on April 4, 1927 in Beechgrove, Tennessee.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Charline Crosslin Greer and Janette (Bobby) Crosslin Bolden; step-children, Joyce (Bob) Wood, Connie Frakes, Sandy (Lee) Clement, Sheila (Mike) Bullock; grandchildren Deneane (David) Greer Beard, Terri (Jon) Bolden Ward, Kenneth Brown, Tonya Hayes; great-grandchildren, Malarie (Dan) Beard-Sherman, Dustin Beard, Zachary Beard, Crosslin Archdeacon, Cal Archdeacon, Cullen Womble, Jack Ward, Lucy Ward, Amber Hayes Nacin, Nicole (Daniel) Hayes Jurisin; special niece, Estha (Roberto) Trail Picciotto; & treasured caregivers; Marcia Carneal, Mary Barcomb, Rene Kirby, Malarie Beard-Sherman, and Crosslin Archdeacon
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Romesburg, daughter, Lorette Crosslin Bumstead, parents, Henry & Judy Floyd, brothers, Henry Floyd Jr. & William Kittrell Floyd, sisters, Orma Jean Trail & Nellie Mae Floyd, & granddaughters Katrina Greer Richey, Kendall Bolden Womble, & great-granddaughter, Ashley Stephens.

Visitation with family & friends was held Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Visitation with family and friends will also occur Monday, January 16, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will occur Monday, January 16, 2023 starting at 1:00 PM, with Daryl Demonbreun officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Bobby Bolden, David Beard, Dustin Beard, Zachary Beard, Jon Ward, & Bob Wood, serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Malarie Beard-Sherman, Crosslin Archdeacon, Cal Archdeacon, Cullen Womble, Jack Ward, & Lucy Ward.
