Linda Boland Hatchett, 71, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2022, with her loving husband of 51 years by her side.
Born July 8, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, and raised in sunny San Diego, California which gave her a life-long love of the ocean, Linda made her way to Nashville, Tennessee to begin her studies at Peabody College, finishing her nursing degree at Tennessee State University many years later. Nursing was her true calling and passion and serving her patients was the highlight of her days for nearly twenty-five years.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Boland and Mary Craig.
Linda is survived by the love of her life, her husband, James Michael Hatchett; her daughter, Christine Hatchett Pulle; her son-in-law, Matthew Edward Pulle; and by the lights of her heart, her grandchildren, Max, Nora Cate, and James, all of Nashville, Tennessee; as well as her sister, Donna Boland Westmoreland and brother-in-law Tommy Lynn Westmoreland of Sugar Land, Texas; and her sister-in-law, Sandra Hatchett Estep, and brother-in-law, Andrew Gaston Hatchett of Hermitage, Tennessee.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from twelve noon until two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow the gathering on the South Side of Woodlawn Memorial Park.
