Leah Shane Grider Pruitt, age 42, of Goodlettsville, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Mrs. Pruitt was born August 6, 1981 in Kentucky to Mr. Larry Grider and the late Mrs. Debbie Milam Grider. She was a Cytogenetic Scientist and was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison.
In addition to her mother Mrs. Pruitt is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Dona Milam and William and Ruth Grider.
In addition to her father Mrs. Pruitt is survived by her husband, Robert Pruitt; sons, Liam Pruitt and Blaise Pruitt; daughters, Eve Pruitt and Clara Pruitt; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessica and Nick Collins and Rebecca and Jason Bowen.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1 pm in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father John Baptiste Kyabuta as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery with Richard Harrison, Aaron Day, Nick Collins, Jason Bowen, Nick Pruitt, Ron Pruitt, Brian Traughber, and Sam Young serving as pallbearers. Mr. Don Pruitt is an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be held at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 2-7 pm.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Any donations may be sent in c/o Austin & Bell.
