Judith Annette King Vulcano was born on April 17, 1941, to Jesse and Marguerite King.
On August 30, 2024, after a long illness, Judy passed away peacefully at her home on the farm where she grew up.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Jack Turner King.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and John Couch. She is also survived by her daughters, Vicki Sargent and Kristi Adkins (Jimmy); grandsons, Jonathan Taylor (Lauren), Joshua Taylor, Dustin Bickerstaff. James Adkins( Kayia), Travis Adkins; and great-grandchildren, Kallie and Karson Taylor, Autumn and Lakelyn Adkins, Kaydence and Khloe Adkins, and Jacob Taylor.
She was a graduate of Antioch High School where she was a cheerleader and participated in many activities. She spent a number of years working in the tourism industry Where she enjoyed both international and domestic travel. She loved dancing, camping, canoeing white water and teaching. She never knew a stranger. She loved watching her grandsons play football and baseball and was an avid Titans and Vols fan.
Funeral services will be conducted by Wendell Byrd on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan and Joshua Taylor, James and Travis Adkins, Jimmy Adkins and Wayne King.
