Imogene “Jean” Hutcherson passed away in Williamson Medical Center on September 2, 2024.
Preceded in death by husband, Ben Hutcherson; and her parents.
Survived by four sisters, Joyce Stancliff, Barbara (Bill) Nesbett, Nell (Jerry) Keen and Brenda (David) Rahrer; three stepsons, David (Jackie), Michael (Molly) and Danny; and sister-in-law, Estarline Stinson.
She was a post-polio survivor and hero. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Middle Tennessee State University and Master’s Degree from Western Kentucky University. She worked thirty years for the State of Tennessee in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Wendell Byrd, Dwayne Archibald and Ford Holman on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. (visitation 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road.
