Johnnie Mai Hancock Watson, age 84 of Donelson, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at St. Thomas Dekalb Hospital in Smithville.
Born Oct. 20, 1938, she was the daughter of the late John Clarence Hancock and Gladys Mai Dunn Hancock and was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Wright Watson and her son, Philip Watson.
Johnnie was a retired employee of SunTrust Bank and a member of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Dan Hancock and his wife, Norma of Smithville and their children, Delynn (Tim) Burgess, Sharon Hancock, Jeff Hancock and Wade (Mary) Hancock and their children, Emma and Grady; sister-in-law, Gale (Jimmy) McKnight and their daughter, Kristin Jackson.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Prosperity Cemetery with Dr. Poly Rouse officiating.
