Mrs. JoAnn Wilson Ferguson of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, she was 84 years old.
JoAnn was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She graduated from Howard High School and was a member of the Church of Christ. JoAnn worked at Percy Priest Elementary School where she was loved by both faculty and students. She was affectionately known as “Miss JoAnn.”
Preceded in death by parents, Tom W. Wilson and Mary Hailey Wilson; brother, James “Spider” Wilson; and son-in-law, Jimmy Dugger.
Survived by husband, Charles Anthony Ferguson, Jr.; daughter, Terry Dugger; granddaughter, Allison Guidry; great-grandchildren, Gunner, Wyatt, and Ryder Guidry; sister-in-law, Shirley Wilson; and numerous extended family whom she loved and shared in their lives.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road by Wendell Byrd. Interment Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
