Joan Pinson Cullum passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, she was 88 years old.

She was the daughter of Maurice and Lady Jewel Pinson and lived in Nashville all her life.

She graduated from Hillsboro High School and three years later married David Cullum, her high school sweetheart. They were happily married until 2013 when he passed away.

She belonged to The Centennial Club, Suburbia Garden Club and several bridge clubs. She was a life-long member of First Lutheran Church and served on several committees.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband and brother, Maurice W. Pinson.

She is survived by her sister, Jere (Al, Jr.) Phillips, sister-in-law Billie Jean Pinson; children, Lisa (Douglas) Brace, Laura (Keith) Hood and Mark (Cecilia) Cullum; grandchildren, Jason (Christie) Brace, Zach (Lauren) Hood, Rachael (Parker) Lockhart and two great-grandchildren, Adelaide and Preston Brace.

There will be a private burial Thursday, November 3rd at TN Veterans Cemetery with a Visitation from 10-11 at the River Plantation Clubhouse, 8635 Sawyer Brown Rd, Nashville, TN 37221.
