Jennie Carol Melton, age 69, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Preceded in death by her parents, Cornie Michael and Mildred Laura Melton; brothers, Ronald C. and Randall D. Melton; and her nephew, Andrew D. Melton.
She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Grace Dunn and Corrie Jean (Aaron Coleman) Cecil; grandchildren, Phoenix Corwen Dunn, Westley Lyon Dunn, and Eleanor June Coleman; great-grandchild, Phoenix Corwen Dunn, Jr.; sister, Joan (Mike) Teal; sister-in-law, Jan Melton; 11 nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jennie was a woman of fortitude with many facets, devoted to God and her family. She was a nurse for more than 40 years. An intuitive caregiver with great foresight. She loved and encouraged many. Her family cherished her humility, openness to growth, grit, and intellect. She was a loving, attentive, and tender mother and grandmother who was immensely loved and will be immeasurably missed by everyone who’s life she touched.
