James Wilburn Lampley, age 92, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Lampley was born July 26, 1930, in Nashville, to the late John Walter and Della Rosa Ferguson Lampley.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked in Production Control at AVCO Aero Structures for many years.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lampley was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Geraldine Redden Lampley; daughter, Donna Belt; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his sons, Garry (Vickie) Lampley, Keith (Tammy) Lampley, and Jeff (Kellie) Lampley; daughters, Bonnie Noble, and Amber (Tim) Shreeve; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday, April 6th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Keith Lampley officiating, Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery on Dividing Ridge Road in Robertson County, with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm Wednesday, April 5th and again from 11 am until time of the service at 1 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
