Issac Olin Johnson, age 6, of Nashville, TN, peacefully passed away on July 11, 2024.

Known to many as Spirit Bear, Issac transformed the lives of those close to him with his calming presence. He had many gifts, among them the ability to radiate peace to all who were near him. He was generous with his gift of presence and easy to feel connected to.

Though his life was short, he showed just how much of an impact one person can have by simply being who they are meant to be. Issac loved stripes, the color red, bathtime, and music. He loved walking with his Dad to Victory Mountain and roller skating and dancing with Mom.

Issac was a student at Harris Hillman Elementary School, where his bright spirit touched the lives of many. He had a special bond with his nurse, LaVonda Grimes, that made her instantly feel like family.

Issac is survived by his loving parents, Paul Edoho-Eket and Courtney Johnson; his grandparents, Nina Lovelace, Eddy Edoho-Eket, Connie (Bill) Harrill, and Tom Johnson; and numerous extended family members and friends who adored him deeply.

An Interment will be held at Larkspur Conservation on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 10:00 am.
