Gayle Annette Lasater, age 85, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Gayle was born Saturday, July 8, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents Standford B. and Nellie B. Dorris Lasater and sister, Gwendolyn Sanders.
She is survived by her sister, Gloria L. (Douglas) Smith, niece Angelia S. (James)Staton; nephews Stephen (Jinpei) Smith, Scott Smith, and Gene (Jennifer) Sanders; plus, great and great-great nieces and a nephew.
Gayle is a graduate of Belmont College, Nashville, and a graduate of the Golden Gate Seminary in San Francisco, CA, where she earned her master’s degree.
She worked in various ministries and administrative positions in California and Arizona before returning to Nashville where she worked in the insurance industry.
Family and friends will gather at a visitation for Gayle, Friday, June 13, 2025, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 S.
