Mr. Garey Southern of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, he was 73 years old.
Preceded in death by parents, Benson and Alice Southern; and brother-in-law, Larry Norman.
Survived by sister, Phyllis Norman; nephew, Chris (Dolores) Norman and great-nephew, C J Norman.
Garey graduated from Antioch High School in 1966 and attended Belmont College before joining the U.S. Navy. He served our country in Vietnam during the Vietnam War from February 1969 to June 1973. He was a longtime member of Haywood Hills Baptist Church. Garey loved the Lord and his family very much.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road by Rev. Phillip Barnett. Entombment with Military Honors at Woodlawn Cross Mausoleum. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
