Frederick Lemans Reid, 52 of Antioch, TN passed away on July 9, 2024.
He was born in Nashville, TN on August 17, 1971 to Fred and Julia Reid. Frederick was one of three children and grew up in the greater Nashville area.
He graduated from Hunters Lane High School and then continued on to Cumberland University. Frederick worked for Metro Developmental Housing Agency for over 20 years. He loved his job and the people he worked with dearly.
Frederick married the love of his life, Lisa Ethridge on May 31, 1997 in Springfield, TN. He loved his family dearly, Lisa and Frederick had two children, Isaiah and Ashly. Frederick was a huge sports fan and shared many memories with his children watching the Tennessee vs. Alabama football games as he was an avid Tennessee fan and his children cheered “Roll Tide.” He had a passion for sports from the Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Volunteers, to playing baseball of his own. Frederick loved spending time with his family and going to Panama City Beach with them where they shared many memories together.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lisa M. Ried; Children, Isaiah Reid and Ashly Ethridge; Grandchildren, Zora and Skylar; Father, Fred Lewis Reid; Siblings, Antjuan Reid and Juliana Reid; and beloved nieces and nephews.
Frederick is preceded in death by his Mother, Julia Lillard Reid; Father-in-Law, Carl Ethridge and Mother-in-Law, Ruby Ethridge.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
