Florence Pickett was born on July 24, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Idella Bernice Pickett and Ricky Jones.
She was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.
Florence affectionately called “Flo” was educated in Metro Nashville Public Schools, graduating from Pearl Cohn High School. She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was united with New Covenant Fellowship.
Flo was employed with SB International as an Industrial Worker. She loved music, crafting, spending time with family, and binge watching tv shows. Flo loved her kids dearly. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memories loving children Shiteka L. Pickett, Corey M. Pickett, Ke’mario T. Holman, Darryl J. Pickett, Trey V. Picket, 18 grandchildren, siblings Vernon Pickett, Jacqueline Esaw Pickett, Elphones Lenox (Shawn), Andre Rucker, LaKeisha Sanders, Ja’Hari Jones, Ricky Jones, London Gordon, Jeremiah Jones, devoted cousin Angela Pickett, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family and friends. Devoted friends Reneca Joseph, Angela Sales, best friends of 20 years Margaret Wells and Neice Patterson.
