Elizabeth Anne Jones, age 96 of Nashville, TN passed away on February 10, 2022.
Mrs. Jones was born November 2, 1925 in Beattyville, KY to the late Grayson M. and Lila Wyatt Matthews.
Preceded in death by husbands, Walter E. Wilbert and Frank L. Jones, Jr; daughter, Patricia Ann Jones; and son, David L. Jones.
Elizabeth was a founding member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church. She owned and operated Tusculum-Jones Florist and Queen Anne Florist for many years. She was active in the Eastern Star, schools, and her community. She touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by daughter, Leslie A. (David) Rader; sons, Frank (Virginia) Wilbert and Mark (Tish) Jones; grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) Hoback, Alisa (Tony) Mitchell, Frank (Courtney) Wilbert, Tori (Thomas) Foshee, Kerby (Dan) Morgan, Liza (Paul) Varlan, Jack Jones and BriAnna Jones; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road with visitation from 1-3 p.m. Interment Turner Family Cemetery.
Flowers are welcome, but in addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
