Dustin Pate- Age 47 of Nashville, TN. Dusty went home to be with his Lord and Savior sometime around June 30, 2026. He was a loving and giving man with a heart of gold. He had an enduring Spirit of Love, strength and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. Dusty was always there to help anyone as that was his way of giving back to others. His life was defined by generosity, resilience and a deep appreciation for those he loved.
Dusty was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend and one of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing golf, swimming and playing with his precious dog, Bella, which she is now living with us.
Although his presence will be deeply missed; his love, laughter, strength and beautiful spirit will continue to bloom in the hearts of those who loved him. His family finds comfort in the many memories he created and the love he shared so freely. His legacy will live on through his family and many dear friends and all that were blessed to have known and loved him.
Survived by his sister, Monique Pate and spouse Jeff; daughter, Hope Smithson and her son, Carter; son, Brady Smithson and son, Parks Smithson; his mother, Olivia; his brother, PJ Pate and wife, Lisa and their children Bailey, Cameron and Dylan. Also, his mama, Lynn Pate and husband Al and father, Paul Pate and wife Robin. In addition, he had many nieces, cousins and 2nd cousins.
Dusty, we will miss you tremendously and always know we love you.
There will be a Celebration of Dusty’s life on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at: Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road.
Visitation 2:00 – 4:00 PM with Service and Celebration of our sweet Dusty’s Life at 4:00 PM.
