Doris Jean Weaver, age 93, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025.
Doris was born on Wednesday, May 27, 1931 in Pleasant Shade, Tennessee, she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Weaver; parents, George and Clara Nixon Wakefield; siblings, Vernon Wakefield, Opal Sutton, Billy Wakefield and George Wakefield, Jr.
Mrs. Weaver retired from Tennessee Christian Hospital after 25 years; she is survived by her sons, Doug (Linda) Weaver, Don (Reba) Weaver; grandchildren, Justin Weaver, Josh (Amenda) Weaver, Paige (Scott) Lee, Jessica (Brian Evans) Weaver; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister, Martha (Bill) Fry.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Weaver at a visitation on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM. with Bro. Tim Fry and Bro. Eugene Butler officiating in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/goodlettsville-tn
