David Joseph Kinnard was born on January 4, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee; and passed away on August 5, after a 5 year battle with cancer.
David is preceded in death by his parents Phil and Cliffie Kinnard.
He is survived by his sisters, Charlotte Van Meter and Becky Ross (Chris); brothers, Steve Kinnard and Randy Kinnard (Peggy); many beloved nieces and nephews and friends.
David served in Nashville’s finest restaurants throughout his lifetime. He was a talented musician and actor and was featured in many films and commercials. He was a lifelong member of West End Methodist Church and sang in their choir for several years. David was a 1969 Graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended The University of Cincinnati. He was a free and joyful spirit who never met a stranger.
The family would like to especially thank the staff at Tennessee Oncology (St. Thomas West), most recently Dr. Kent Shih and the caring staff at Green Hills Rehabilitation Center, especially Dr. Jenny Mullen.
Graveside Services to be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery (1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville 37210 – Sunrise Garden) on Thursday, August 10 at 10 A.M.
