Clifford “Cliff” Reinert, 83, of Nashville, TN, passed away on September 15, 2021.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, he received his degree in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University and remained a life-long Buckeyes fan. He worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers for 34 years before his retirement in 1997. Cliff was an active and dedicated member of St. Joseph Parish and the Knights of Columbus, and he often volunteered for the local chapter of The Nature Conservancy. In his free time, Cliff perfected his homebrew and tended the gardens around his home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Marie Reinert; brothers, John, Paul, and Robert Reinert.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Hudson Reinert; children, Laura (Cody) and Eric (Vivian) Reinert; grandchildren, Emily and Marie; brother, Albert Reinert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be September 22, 2021, from 9:30 am until service time at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1225 Gallatin Pike S, Madison, TN 37115. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Nature Conservancy.
