Chris Slate, age 58 of Lafayette, TN passed away Wednesday evening, June 3, 2026. Chris is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Chris Slate will be conducted Monday afternoon, June 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Breck Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitley Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.
He is preceded in death by: father, Richard Slate; brother, Chandler Slate.
Survivors include: son, Justin Slate of Antioch; daughters, Amber Manning & husband, David of Christiana, Kayle Slate of Murfreesboro, Kelsie Slate of Nashville; grandchildren, Israel, Bella, & Iris Manning; mother, Wanda Slate Armstrong & husband, Bruce of Hermitage; brother, Kevin Slate of LaVergne; aunt & uncle, Kathy & Lanny Hudson of Johnson City; uncle, Mike Hewitt; close friend, Brenda Haye of Lafayette.
