Charles Edward Parker, of Joelton, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was 72 years old.
Born in Cheatham County, TN to the late Vary and Audrey (Moore) Parker, Charles is also preceded in death by his devoted wife, Barbara and their son Deonka Hawkins; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his daughters Wendy Rojas (Antonio), Tiffany Moore, Gayla Valentine; son Eric Parker; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, as well as many other beloved family and dear friends.
Charles was a very experienced carpenter and served his community for many years as Parker Construction Company. He was easy to talk to and made friends fast. When he wasn’t working, Charles could be found in his favorite chair watching western TV shows and movies. He loved spending time with his family, vacations and Elvis Presley. Charles will be dearly missed, but he will forever be in our heart.
Visitation for Mr. Charles Edward Parker will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a chapel service to begin at 2 pm and burial to follow, all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Rd., Goodlettsville, TN.
