C.C. Barksdale, Jr. was born February 11, 1953, in Holly Springs, Mississippi to the union of C.C. Barksdale, Sr. and Mable Brooks. This fruitful life came to an end on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Life Care Center in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
C.C. was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Schools where he attended Pearl High and later Hillwood High School. He was married to Deborah Christmon and after this marriage ended, he married Katherine Driver.
C.C. accepted Christ in his life at an early age. He was currently united with St. Luke CME Church.
He was gifted with the talent of Music and was a Musician, Floor Tech, Song Writer, Ghost Writer.
In his spare time, he enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, fishing and drawing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to celebrate his memories are his children, Sentoryia Young, Christopher Cornelius Barksdale, Latterance Driver, Quentin Driver, Latoy Barksdale-Ballard and Linda Precelle, two, sisters, seven brothers, 16, grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren a host of other relatives and friends.
