Bobby S Carlile, 79 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at his home in Sparta, Tennessee.
Bobby was born on Saturday, September 7, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Aza Carlile and the late Ruby Masters Carlile. He was the husband of Janice Malone Carlile.
Bobby was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God. He found great joy in spending time with his family, lending a helping hand to anyone in need, and living a life rooted in kindness and generosity. In his younger years, he loved hunting and fishing and treasured every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Bobby was a talented craftsman who especially enjoyed woodworking and building things with his hands. He also loved taking scenic drives and traveling whenever he had the chance, creating memories that his family will forever hold close to their hearts.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice Marie Carlile, 2 sons; Troy (Marlene) Carlile, Brian (Natalie) Carlile, 2 brothers; Johnny (Dianne) Carlile, David Carlile, 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy (Beverly) Carlile, sister, Helen (Charley) Carr, sister-in-law, Laura Carlile, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Euneeda Malone.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home, with a service to follow at 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
