Billy Gifford (nickname Billy Bob), age 86 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on October 11th, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila Henderson Gifford; father, William Coe Gifford Sr.; brothers, Joe Gifford, Gary Gifford, and Garlen Gifford; and step-mother, Sue Drake Gifford.
Billy is survived by loving wife of 61 years, Bobbie Gifford; daughters, Michelle (Vasili) Fanaras; and Christy Mason; brothers, Bubba Dale (Barbara) Gifford; and Chip Gifford; sisters, Patsy Barbee; Faye Gifford; Brenda (Ricky) Puckett; Donna Knepper; Phyllis Gifford Young; Julie Duncan; and Nancy (Bobby) Smith; grandchildren, Micah (Stephen) Pinaire; Nicholas Fanaras; Christina Fanaras; Ben Mason; and Emma Mason; and great-grandchildren, Adalyn Pinaire; Griffin Pinaire; and Madden Pinaire.
From 1962 until 1964, Billy served proudly in the United States Army. Following his time in the Army, he became the owner of a trucking company and grew a successful business.
Anyone who knew Billy knew of his passion for golf, Titans football, Vanderbilt football, Harley Davidson riding, and Nascar racing.
Above all, he was a devoted husband to Bobbie. He loved to dance and make people laugh, and always made sure to participate in having fish on Fridays and steak on Saturdays.
Visitation will be held on Friday. Oct. 17th from 4 PM until 8 PM; and again on Sat. Oct. 18th from 10:30 AM until the hour of Service at 1:30 PM with Pastor Barry Voorhies officiating. https://www.andersonandgarrett.com
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Stephen Pinaire, Ben Mason, Griffin Pinaire, Vasili Fanaras, Lance Gifford, and Troy Gifford serving as pallbearers.
