Barry Lyndell Vaughn passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 76 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born September 6, 1949, to the late Clifford Kelly Vaughn and the late Francis Geneva Hay Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his stepfather William Yeargin as well as his siblings Clifford “Sonny” Vaughn, Brenda Byrum and Shirley Tweedy.
Barry attended Hume Fogg High School in Nashville. Barry spent his career working as a maintenance supervisor with The Coca-Cola Company.
He is survived by his son Christopher Ryan Vaughn who was his entire world. In addition to his loving son, he is also survived by many family and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff and friends at Harmony of Bellevue for the excellent care that they provided to Barry.
The family plans to have a private remembrance at a later date. He will be greatly missed.
