Mrs. Anita Gertrude Eldred of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, she was 87 years old.
Anita was born in Allen, Mississippi to the late, Frank Lessing and Loriane Varnado Lessing.
She was a member of Christ Servants Baptist Church. Anita has held leadership roles in the FFC Women and the UT Extension Service in Sumner County. She enjoyed gardening and arranging flowers and was a wonderful cook.
She is survived by:
Husband – Reverend Timothy Eldred
Children – Donna (Larry) Clark, Lisa Mathis, Darryl (Eva) Eldred, Michael Eldred, and Vickie (Ted) Frels
Sister – Doris Johnson
12 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Monday at Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN. (615) 773-2663. www.bondmemorial.com
