Andrea “Andy” Brewer, age 77, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 19th, 2023.
Andy had an endearing smile that spoke volumes. Even through personal loss, she was a strong and charismatic lady with unquestionable faith and courage. Always loyal to her friends, proud of her family, and supportive of everyone in her life, Andy made everyone she met feel at ease and unique; just as she was.
Andy began a career in teaching at the former Parmer Elementary School in Nashville and as a substitute teacher for Metro Nashville Public Schools. Later in life, she began a career in real estate working for several well-established realty companies in Nashville.
Preceded in death by her son, Drew, parents, Sam and Dorothy Charles, and sister, Debbie Charles.
Survived by husband, Jim Brewer and sons Mike and Chris.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tn. 37204 on Friday, July 28th from 2 pm to 4 pm.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 29th at 10 am at Immanuel Baptist Church 222 Belle Meade Blvd, Nashville, Tn. 37205.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Alive Hospice-Nashville.
