A pedestrian has died after being involved in a hit-and-run crash on Gallatin Pike in Madison on February 22, 2023, according to WKRN.
Metro Police say a 61-year-old man was in the left turning lane in the northbound lanes of Gallatin Pike near Duling Avenue when a white sedan hit him.
The man was then knocked into the oncoming lanes where he was then hit by a Nissan Versa.
He later died from his injuries at the hospital.
The driver of the Nissan stayed on the scene, but Metro Police is still searching for the driver of the white sedan who fled the scene before officers arrived.
Police say the white sedan may have damage in the front and a busted headlight.
