(August 7, 2022) Homicide Unit detectives are investigating Sunday’s 4:15 a.m. fatal shooting of Jalen Cooke, 25, outside the House of Legends on Jefferson Street.
Cooke exited the bar and was crossing the street with two other persons when a white sedan pulled alongside them, and shots were fired from the car. Cooke ran a short distance before collapsing. He was transported by personal vehicle to Centennial Medical Center where he died.
