Investigation by South Precinct detectives and TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) Unit detectives led to the arrest of Michael Davis Jr., 32, for the November 3 altercation during which a man was shot multiple times at the Lavo Lounge on Antioch Pike.

The 33-year-old victim reported that he had gotten into a verbal and physical altercation with Davis in the restroom of the club that escalated into a brawl with other patrons. Eventually Davis exited the club. As the victim was leaving Davis returned, opened the entrance door, and fired multiple shots. The victim was struck twice, in his right shoulder and lower back, and was taken to the emergency room in a personal vehicle.

Davis was positively identified as the suspect. TITANS detectives arrested Davis at his apartment last night. Two 9 mm pistols were recovered from the apartment, one pistol matched the weapon involved in the shooting.

Davis, of Whites Creek, is being held on a $500,000 bond.
