Fleet Feet, the premier local running specialty shop, is partnering with blade runner amputee and Altra athlete Jacky Hunt-Broersma in her mission to complete a half marathon every day for 250 consecutive days in larger support of her ‘Doing Hard Things’ project benefitting the Sarcoma Foundation of America.

Hunt-Broersma battled Ewing Sarcoma before needing to have her left leg amputated. Now 21 years cancer-free, she started the ‘Doing Hard Things’ campaign to recognize and fundraise for cancer survivors, those currently battling cancer and those who have lost their lives to cancer.

Fleet Feet Green Hills will be the starting point for a half marathon, allowing people to run alongside Hunt-Broersma in her daily effort to ‘do hard things,’ beginning at 6:30 a.m. Participants will have the option of completing only the final three-mile loop [in lieu of the full 13.1] and joining in the run at 8 a.m. Attendees are invited to a celebratory pancake breakfast, meet and greet with Hunt-Broersma and custom shirt-making with Altra following the half marathon. Registration is free, open to the public and can be completed at the link HERE.

The event takes place on Sunday, October 15 at 6:30 am until 9 am at Fleet Fleet, 3900 Hillsboro Road, Nashville.
