A driver has died following Saturday’s single-car crash on I-65 South at mile marker 88/0.
The preliminary investigation indicates Brandon Perry Day, 39, of Adams, TN, was driving a GMC Envoy southbound when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle crossed two lanes of travel before leaving the roadway and striking the center concrete median wall.
Day was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.
Toxicology testing will be conducted by the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine whether impairment was a factor in this fatal crash.
