September 13, 2025 – The driver of the Mercedes sedan involved in Tuesday night’s fatal crash on Old Hickory Boulevard surrendered herself Friday night on charges of vehicular homicide by reckless conduct, leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death, failure to render aid and evidence tampering. Jordyn Walker, 23, admitted to being the driver that struck motorcyclist James Sellars, 33, of Hendersonville, from behind while he was stopped at a red light.
Sellars was pushed through the intersection as a result of the crash and struck a traffic light pole. He died at the scene.
Walker’s Mercedes was recovered on Wednesday in the 3400 block of Lebanon Pike.
Walker remains jailed on $81,000 bond.
