Detectives are working to identify two men who Monday night robbed the Dollar General at 6009 Charlotte Pike.
They entered the store at 8:30 p.m. and while checking out, one produced a handgun and demanded money. They fled in a dark colored sedan with cash.
Both suspects are black men who appear to be in their 30s. The gunman, who appears to weigh approximately 230 pounds, wore a Chicago Bulls ball cap, a Michael Jordan number 23 t-shirt, and blue jeans. The second suspect wore all black clothing and a black ball cap with Garden Family in yellow.
Anyone who recognizes the men from the attached surveillance photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
