An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred Saturday evening at an apartment complex.
Authorities say Demetrish Brown is charged with criminal homicide, felony reckless endangerment, and aggravated assault in the death of Charvante List, 27.
According to investigators, the shooting happened just after 5 p.m. in the parking lot of Hickory Lake Apartments on Apache Trail.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit said the case involves two men who had relationships with the same woman. Authorities identified the victim as the woman’s ex-boyfriend, while the suspect is her current boyfriend.
Brown was taken into custody and is being interviewed as the investigation remains ongoing.
