After 15 years, Porta Via is now closed for business.

Located at 21 White Bridge Road, they announced the last day of business on social media. Stating, “After 15 Memorable Years Serving Authentic Italian Cuisine to the Belle Meade Community, Porta Via will be closing its doors on Sunday, April 7th.”

The restaurant began in Bellevue in 1989 before moving to its White Bridge Road location. Continuing their message, “Many of our loyal customers remember when we started this journey in 1989 at a small plaza in Bellevue. Little did we know at that time that we would become one of Nashville’s longest standing restaurants, weathering so many challenges and changes in the industry. And never we will forget the late Chef Giovanni Giosa, who spearheaded our authentic Italian menu and led us to become Tennessee’s only VPN-certified Neapolitan pizzeria.”

While Porta Via is now closed, they shared Chef Rosario DeLuca will open a new concept in the space at 21 White Bridge Road. There’s no word on what it will be or when it will open.
