Mr. Carey Wayne Moore, age 62 of Hermitage, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Moore.
Carey was survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Moore; brother, Jeffrey Moore; sister, Karen Cook (James Cook); brother, Steve Moore (Allison Moore); his two children, Carlie Moore and Will Moore; and his grand-dog, Grey, all of Nashville, Tennessee.
Carey was born and raised in Nashville and graduated from Overton High School, where he was a member of the football, baseball, and wrestling teams. He spent his career at Ford Motor Glass Plant where he had a special camaraderie with many coworkers.
He loved concerts, sporting events, the beach, frisbee golf, the Vols, and helping anyone who was in need. He was a selfless, funny, and kind soul whose vibrant life has left an impact on so many. We are most grateful for the friends of our family during this difficult time and to the healthcare workers who kept him comfortable until the end of his life.
