Lakesha Michelle Oldham-Dorsey was born on December 28, 1975 to James and Cynthia Oldham in Nashville, Tennessee. She departed this life suddenly on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in a tragic automobile accident.

Kesha attended and graduated high school from Maplewood Comprehensive High School in Nashville, Tennessee where she excelled in her education and graduated with honors. If you knew Kesha, then you knew this wasn’t enough. She relocated to North Carolina to attend Dudley Beauty College where she graduated and received a license in cosmetology.

Lakesha became the badest hair stylist that we all knew and loved. Kesha lived in a lane that she made for herself. She was a great mom, an outgoing daughter, a loving sister and a very caring and loving aunt.

She was the most honest and loyal friend to everyone that ever had the pleasure of her calling her Friend! Kesha was a successful business owner of not one but two salons. “Salon Keziah” Her passion was hair.

During her high school years, she was the designated stylist to all of her friends. She took pride in making ANYONE who was lucky enough to sit in her chair feel amazing inside and out. She created a safe space for everyone which is an asset in the beauty industry. She absolutely loved styling hair. Kesha was fearless. She loved to travel, she loved being around her family and friends, having a good time. She had a glow and energy about her that was unmatched. She lived her life to the fullest with no regrets!

Kesha was engaged to Mr. Cameron “Cam” Commage as of this past Thanksgiving. They met at a family cookout on Memorial Day in 2021. From that day to the day of her untimely demise they were inseparable. She loved him unconditionally. His family became her family and she loved each and every one of them. It felt to them as if they had been a part of each other’s lives since birth. The love “Cam” had for Kesha was unmatched. He so lovingly deemed her to be his “Ms. Kesha” Needless to say, their love for one another was one of a kind.
