Arrest warrants charging carjacking and auto theft have been issued against Zachary Wayne Turner, 28, for Friday’s 5:30 p.m. armed hold-up of a man in the Kroger parking lot, 3410 Gallatin Pike.
The victim was loading his groceries onto his motorcycle when Turner allegedly approached him, lifted his shirt to reveal a revolver in his waistband, and demanded his keys. The victim complied. As Turner attempted to ride off on the motorcycle, he was confronted by a Kroger security guard and crashed. He then fled on foot and a short time later stole a blue 2006 Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Tennessee tag CP51232 from a nearby residence. The truck has not been recovered.
Turner is a white man with sleeve tattoos on both arms. He has a Juggalo (Insane Clown Posse) tattoo on his left bicep and a tattoo under his left eye. He is 6’1” tall with a thin build.
