Update: The deceased has been identified through her tattoos as Danielle Marie Dupee, 27, of Nashville.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death of a woman found at 6:10 a.m. by a passing motorist on the side of Ned Shelton Road off Bell Road in the Percy Priest Lake area. It is believed the victim had been dumped there during the night. An examination of the body at the scene showed no indications of trauma that would have resulted in her death.
The victim carried no identification. She is black and appears to be in her 20s to 30s. She has a tattoo of the name “Roziah” on the left side of her chest.
