A 25-year-old woman was arrested after authorities traced an online threat directed at Lipscomb University and Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, WSMV reports.

Campus security was alerted to a social media post referencing an article about how the school responded to recent protests over a campus memorial. The post reportedly included a statement threatening to harm the school.

The incident was reported to Metro Nashville Police, who identified the account as belonging to Karissa Hamlet. She was taken into custody Tuesday night and charged with threatening mass violence at a school and filing a false report.

Officials confirmed that Hamlet has no connection to Lipscomb University or Lipscomb Academy, and there was no active danger to the campus community.
