Woman Arrested After Car Stolen From Hendersonville Residence

October 3, 2024 – Hendersonville Police received a report Monday of a stolen vehicle from a subdivision off Center Point Rd. It was reported that a 2023 Kia Carnival was stolen from a residence, along with two vehicle burglaries that occurred overnight. The Hendersonville Police investigated the theft and located the unoccupied vehicle in Nashville. The stolen 2023 Kia Carnival was discovered to have triggered a License Plate Reader (LPR) in Mt. Juliet on September 30, 2024.

Further investigation revealed that the stolen Kia had been in the same area where the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department was working on the theft of two other vehicles. The two agencies exchanged information, leading to the identification of Kendrea N. Reed (19) from Nashville as a suspect.

Subsequently, the Hendersonville Police Department obtained warrants for Kendrea N. Reed for one count of Theft of Property over $10,000 and two counts of vehicle burglary.

On October 2, 2024, the Hendersonville Police Department, with the assistance of the Metro Nashville Police Department, arrested Ms. Reed at her residence in Nashville without incident.

Kendrea N. Reed has a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on October 22, 2024.
