White Castle has added a new permanent menu item systemwide: the Southwest Veggie Slider. The Slider gives Cravers a meat-free option alongside the chain’s classic beef, chicken, and fish Sliders, featuring a crispy brown rice crust with a blend of six vegetables, including sweet potatoes, black beans, corn, red bell peppers, onions, and carrots. The patty is seasoned with smoky chipotle and sweet BBQ flavors, then topped with jalapeño cheese on a classic Slider bun (customers can substitute American or cheddar cheese if preferred).
Behind the Development of the Southwest Veggie Slider
White Castle’s innovation team relied on consumer research conducted last summer to shape the new item. The research helped identify the flavors, ingredients, and overall profile Cravers wanted most in a nonmeat Slider. Based on that feedback, the team chose a Dr. Praeger’s veggie patty as the foundation for the Southwest Veggie Slider.

The Southwest Veggie Slider is available now at White Castle locations nationwide, with a starting price of $2.49.
Craver Nation Rewards Combo Deal for July
