Ashford moves into the hotel manager role after nearly a decade with The Westin Nashville, where he most recently served as director of operations. He brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience from properties in Texas, New York and Tennessee.

During his time at the hotel, Ashford has helped oversee daily operations, improve guest satisfaction and develop the property’s workplace culture. In his new role, he will lead hotel operations with a focus on performance, employee engagement and the overall guest experience.

Scully has been promoted from executive sous chef to executive chef. He has more than a decade of experience managing culinary operations at luxury hotels and high-volume food and beverage venues, including restaurants, banquets, catering programs and large-scale events.

His culinary approach combines influences from his experience in California with the flavors of Nashville. As executive chef, Scully will oversee all culinary operations at the hotel, including menu development, dining experiences and culinary team leadership.

The leadership changes follow a property-wide renovation at The Westin Nashville, located next to Music City Center. The project included updates to guestrooms, suites, public spaces, meeting and event areas and guest amenities throughout the 456-room hotel.

The renovations are part of the hotel’s continued efforts to enhance its accommodations, dining options and meeting capabilities for both business and leisure travelers.
