November 22, 2022 – Violent Crimes detectives are working to identify the person involved in an armed robbery where victims were pepper sprayed multiple times and were physically assaulted in a car wash bay on Gallatin Pike on November 13.
Three victims were cleaning their Ford work truck inside the Inglewood Auto Wash just before 6:30 p.m. when the suspect approached them from behind carrying a pink backpack and a weapon. The person pointed what was later discovered to be a pepper spray handgun at the victims while demanding their wallets.
The victims complied while being pepper sprayed before the suspect physically assaulted all three men. The victims were all transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect fled on foot towards Gallatin Pike near McAlpine Avenue.
